Introduction to Country Swing
Welcome to Outlaw Country's Intro to Country Swing!
Whether you have limited or no previous dance experience, this class is the perfect starting point. We begin with the fundamentals, covering essential footwork, tension and compressions, grips, and more. As you advance, these foundational skills will set the stage for more complex progressions.
Modern country swing is a lively, partnered dance style rooted in country music but adaptable to various genres. It features dynamic footwork, playful spins, and rhythmic shifts, making it a favorite for energetic social dancing.
To better accommodate your learning journey, we've introduced a new level structure for our country swing classes:
Intro A/B: Both courses are of equal difficulty and can be taken in any order.
