Introduction to Country Swing
Welcome to Outlaw Country's intro to country swing! This class is designed for people with limited to no previous experience in country swing, or dance. We start from the ground up (literally!). Starting with the basics we cover essential footwork, tension and compressions, grips, and more. These necessary foundation skills will allow us to teach you more complicated progressions as the weeks progress. Please see the FAQ's to be fully prepared for your lesson.
Modern country swing is a lively, partnered dance style rooted in country music but adaptable to various genres. It's characterized by dynamic footwork, playful spins, and rhythmic shifts, making it a favorite for energetic social dancing.
