Whether you’ve just registered, are preparing for your first practice, or are helping a dancer get set up, this page walks you through what to expect as part of an Outlaw team.

KICKOFF WEEK

Kickoff Week begins Sunday, January 4.

Kickoff Week focuses on:

  • orientation and expectations

  • meeting your team and instructors

  • spacing and basic structure

  • setting a positive tone for the season

This week is about clarity, connection, and confidence — not pressure.

PRACTICES & OPEN FLOOR ACCESS

Once registered, team members have access to the following rehearsal and practice options:

Team Open Dance Floor

(Unstaffed)

Available to all team members across divisions.

Weekly times:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

  • Sundays: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

These sessions are unstaffed and intended for:

  • rehearsal and drilling

  • partner practice

  • running choreography

  • spacing, entrances, and exits

Please be respectful of the space and other dancers while using the studio.

Public Open Dance Floor

Saturdays: 3:00 – 5:00 PM

These sessions are shared with the public.
A staff member is present to oversee the space and handle logistics. This time is not structured coaching, but team members are welcome to attend for additional practice.

TEAM COMMUNICATION (BAND)

We use BAND as our private communication hub for registered team members only.

BAND is where all official team information is shared, including:

  • practice reminders and schedule updates

  • announcements from your coaches

  • costume information and ordering links

  • performance details and sign-ups

  • team photos and videos

  • policies, procedures, and handbook access

​​​Access to BAND is provided after registration.

Once you’re officially registered (or approved for Pro teams), you’ll receive an email with:

  • the correct BAND group link for your team

  • instructions on how to join

​If you’ve registered and haven’t received your BAND link within 24 hours, please email
info@outlawdance.com and we’ll help right away.

WHAT TO BRING TO PRACTICE

Please arrive with:

  • clean indoor shoes

  • a water bottle

  • comfortable dance clothing

  • a positive, open mindset

No special gear is required to get started.

NEW TEAM MEMBER CHECKLIST

To make sure you’re fully set up:

Step 1: Register for your team
Step 2: Join your private BAND group (link sent by email)
Step 3: Review this Team Hub page
Step 4: Attend your first practice
