Stampede 2024 Auditions

We want to welcome you to our first-ever Outlaw Country Dance Team Stampede auditions where all levels and abilities are welcome! Outlaw Country is looking for dancers to join three different divisions; our professional country swing team, professional line dance team, and professional group team (country jazz/hip-hop). 

*Registration is required for this event.*

✨ No experience is necessary to join any of our teams! We welcome any and all levels of dance backgrounds!

👟 What you should bring

1. Athletic clothing
2. Indoor shoes that you feel comfortable dancing in
3. A water bottle
4. And a big smile!

⏰ Day of schedule

12:00 - 12:30 - Registration

12:30 - 2:00 - Line Dance Tryouts

2:15 - 3:45 - Country Swing Tryouts

Pro Group (formerly girls' team) - No tryout for this team at this time. If you would like to be considered for this team please choose the corresponding ticket and we will contact you separately.

3:45 - 4:00 - Closing questions period

💃 How it's gonna work

Line Dance:

• One line dance will be taught
• Line dance will be 32-64 counts and have at least two walls
• Approximately 1.5 hrs allocated

Country Swing:

• One country swing-centric combo will be taught
• Aerials will not be required but will be considered an asset, as part of the try-out for this team
• Approximately 1.5 hrs allocated

🕺 A couple of things you need to know

• You will be trying out as an individual, not as a couple - but feel free to come with a partner!
• When selecting the team you are trying out for, please choose all of the teams you are interested in.
• Registration will be open at 12:00 pm location Outlaw Studio One - there we will assign you a number for the tryouts
• Ages 18+*Must be 18 within the beginning of the 2024 year, June 1, 2024.
